What's actually breaking on game day
8pm Sunday: 12 tables, 3 servers, customers waving for refills.
QR Ordering: tables order rounds without flagging staff. Server runs food, not orders.
Half your customers speak Spanish. Your menu is English.
Customer scans the QR, picks español, browses, orders. Tabletop bilingual.
Group of 8 splitting the bill turns into a 20-minute math problem.
Multiple guests scan the same QR, each runs their own tab on the same table. Auto-split.
Your regulars switch to the bar across the street with better loyalty.
Loyalty + automated WhatsApp triggers. Win-back at 30 days. Birthday rewards. Tier perks.
Built for the moment a server can't be in 12 places at once.
Sports bar economics are uniquely concentrated: 4 hours on Sunday afternoon and 4 hours on Saturday night drive a disproportionate share of weekly revenue. Either your operation is built to handle that surge — or you leave money on the table every weekend. Eatsy gives you the tools that turn the bottleneck (server capacity) into a non-issue: QR ordering at the tables, iPad menu at the bar, all flowing into one Order Management dashboard, with loyalty tracking every regular automatically.
Recommended stack for a sports bar
Sports bars start on the Microsite plan because the priority is dine-in efficiency, not a branded app. The plan covers everything except Branded App. Add QR Ordering at the tables and iPad Menu at the bar. Loyalty (included) does the heavy lifting on retention.
- Microsite plan — $89.99/mo per location
Microsite plan
Includes everything you need: Order Management, EatsyAI for the bilingual menu, Loyalty for regulars, Catering for game-day group orders.
- Add-on. Contact for pricing.
QR Ordering
The biggest win for sports bars. 6-top tables order rounds without flagging staff. Bilingual landing screen. Per-table tab tracking with split-the-bill support.
- Add-on. Contact for pricing.
iPad Menu
At the bar counter, walk-ups order from the iPad. Bartender pulls drinks; food orders flow to the kitchen. Cash drawer integration for the bar.
From $89.99/mo per location with the Microsite plan. QR + iPad add-ons priced separately.
What this looks like at your sports bar
NFL Sunday, 4th quarter
12 tables full, 3 servers visibly slammed. Tables 4 and 7 each order another round of beers and wings via QR. The order lands in the kitchen with table numbers attached. Server picks them up, drops them off, never had to take an order. Multiply by 12 tables × 4 hours: that's why your tab averages went up 18%.
Liga MX final, group of 10 splitting the bill
Group of 10 at table 8. Each scans the QR, joins the same table session, runs their own tab. When they're done: each pays their own check via Stripe — no “who had the chiles toreados?” math. Server doesn't have to split the bill 10 ways.
Carlos hasn't been in for 35 days
Carlos comes in every other Sunday for the games. Then he stops. Day 30: the win-back automation fires a WhatsApp message in Spanish: “Hola Carlos, te extrañamos — Champions League final este sábado, $5 de descuento en tu primera ronda.” He shows up Saturday with two friends. Tab: $147.
What's tuned specifically for sports bars
Tab management built for big groups
Sports bar tabs are different. 6-tops, 8-tops, 10-tops are normal. People come and go. Some pay for the whole table; some split. Eatsy QR Ordering handles all of it without forcing the server to be the math teacher.
- Multiple guests on the same table, each with their own tab
- One person can pay for the whole table; or each person pays their own check
- Tab persists if a guest steps outside for a smoke and comes back
Bilingual at the table where it matters
Soccer (LaLiga, Liga MX, Champions League) and boxing (Canelo) drive massive Hispanic sports-bar foot traffic in US metros. Eatsy is the only platform where the table-side experience runs in Spanish without staff intervention.
- QR landing screen: “Español | English” — first tap of the customer's experience
- EatsyAI generates beer descriptions, cocktail descriptions, food in both languages
- Modifiers and special requests pass through to the kitchen in original language
Loyalty that sports-bar regulars actually use
Sports bars retain regulars more than any other restaurant type. Every visit, every game, the same faces. Eatsy Loyalty rewards that without requiring an app download.
- Visit-based program (10 visits = free pitcher) or spend-tier (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
- WhatsApp + email triggers for game-day specials, win-back, birthdays
- Loyalty status shows on every QR ordering session — server knows when a regular walks in
“Sundays during football used to be chaos. Now the tables order rounds from the QR menu and the bar just runs them — we doubled bar tickets without adding staff.”Burger Temple

Yes. Each guest scans the same QR and joins the table session, but each runs their own tab. When they're ready to leave, each pays their own check via card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Or one person can choose to pay for the whole table — they tap “pay all,” the system consolidates everyone's tabs into one charge. No more 20-minute math problems.
Yes — that's where iPad Menu comes in. Walk-ups at the bar order from a counter-mounted iPad in self-order mode, or your bartender uses it in staff-register mode. Bartender pulls drinks; food orders flow to the kitchen. Cash drawer integration via Star or Epson printers for cash payments at the bar.
You can take catering-style reservations through the catering module — for example, a group of 20 reserving a section for the Super Bowl. Set a deposit, lead time, and pre-order their food/drink package. Day-of, their order is already in the system; they just show up. Different from QR ordering during the actual game (which is per-table, real-time).
Yes. WhatsApp Business API integration is included. Customers opt in (US compliance baked in). You compose a message — for example, “Canelo vs. Crawford este sábado, reserva ahora” — segment by language preference, location, last-visit date, or loyalty tier. Open rates run 70–90% for WhatsApp vs. 30% for email. Hispanic customers respond especially well.
Customers select a tip percentage on the QR checkout (default 18% / 20% / 22% with a custom amount option). Tips flow through Stripe to your merchant account along with the order total. Eatsy doesn't touch tip math — you distribute tips to staff per your normal process (tip-out, pooling, individual). Reports show tips by table, by server (if you assign tables), and by shift.
