Your drivers, our software
IHD: dispatch your own drivers, keep every dollar.

In-house dispatch (IHD) questions
No. IHD is the dispatch software — driver app, dispatch dashboard, tracking, payouts. You hire and pay drivers directly. This is the trade-off: lower per-delivery cost, but you own the operational complexity.
IHD: high volume (>50 deliveries/week), tight delivery radius, want full control of customer experience. Uber Direct: lower volume, want zero operational overhead, willing to pay $7–10 per delivery. Many restaurants run both — IHD primary, Uber Direct as peak overflow.
Included in every Eatsy plan as a module — no extra software fee. You pay drivers directly. Net cost per delivery is typically $3–5 (driver wages + tips + mileage), versus $7–10 for marketplaces.
You decide whether drivers are W2 employees or 1099 contractors based on your state's labor laws. Eatsy provides export-ready payroll data; we don't handle classification or insurance.
Yes — drivers can be assigned to multiple restaurant accounts (your other locations, or partner restaurants). Useful for restaurant groups or shared-fleet co-ops.
Customers see live driver location and ETA in your branded app, on the order confirmation page, and via SMS. Same UX as marketplace tracking — branded as you, not the dispatch provider.
